Taoshi Intelligent Technology has released the world's first reducer suitable for high-precision, heavy-load, and fully direct drive smart hands - the world's smallest toroidal enveloping worm gear and worm high-precision reducer.

This product is based on the toroidal envelope multi-tooth meshing transmission technology, which has pushed the classic structure of worm gears and worms to a new height. Compared with the single-tooth meshing of traditional worm gears and worms, its multi-tooth meshing design enables the effective contact area to reach 85%, and the transmission efficiency jumps to 70-90% (while traditional worms are only 40%).

This reducer features a 90° orthogonal transmission characteristic, which is more in line with the natural movement direction of the human hand. It does not require additional corner devices, significantly saving space inside the fingers and reducing energy consumption by 30%. Its built-in self-locking function provides higher security for the dexterous hand, allowing it to remain stationary without an additional braking system.
